Established in New York in 2026, FERMATA Ritual takes its name from a moment held in music. We make objects for warmth, comfort, and the unplanned hours of the day.
MIST 01 brings warmth to these everyday pauses. An unscented, self-heating eye mask, individually wrapped for the moment you choose.
For time shared, Joel Wu hosts private tea-led gatherings. Tea, food and the details of the table are arranged around your occasion, at home or an agreed private venue.
FERMATA Place is an online space for unhurried moments. Spend a little time with an interval, a note, or a place to return to.

What we choose to make room for.
FERMATA grew from that thought. Our work begins with the contours of the body, the feel of a surface and the small movements of a hand. Warmth, a carefully finished edge, a cup offered at the right moment: these are modest things, but they are how consideration becomes tangible.
I do not see a pause as the opposite of ambition. I see it as part of a life we have chosen carefully. For those who spend much of the day making room for others, I hope FERMATA leaves a little room of their own.
